Alexander Lofts LLC is a development company that pushes the limits of design and construction. 

Alexander Lofts LLC is focused on one concept. We build urban mixed-use, LEED-certified Structures in architecturally significant locations. Tampa and other cities around the U.S. have been specifically identified by Alexander Lofts because they are historically-referenced markets.  The vision of Alexander Lofts LLC is to build state-of-the-art, environmentally responsible, mixed-use structures that are specifically designed to complement and enrich the history of the communities in which they are built.

Background-Alexander Lofts TAMPA

Tom Alexander purchased the property in 1924 to start a lumber mill, Alexander Lumber; the Property is a pivotal property that ties Ybor and Channel side districts together. He and his sons continued to operate Alexander lumber until 1980, when he sold the lumber mill to S&S Craftsmen, Inc.  The new-Alexander Lofts will be a “Gateway Building” between downtown Tampa and the historical district Ybor City. Alexander Lofts will set the precedent for redevelopment along Adamo corridor. The project is located at 1307 2nd Ave and will consist of a 12 story building, with 31,000 Sq Ft of retail space on the 1st floor, 2 floors of parking and 64 high end units. The units will have 22 foot ceilings, massive floor plans ranging in sizes of est. 3,400 Sq. Ft. to 5250 Sq Ft., giving each unit a “Classic Timber Loft” concept. The exterior will have a historic Cigar Factory look. Referencing the Ybor’s historical Cigar Factories-The Vicente Martinez Ybor Cigar Factory, The Ybor-Marana Factory, E. Regensburg & Sons Cigar Factory, Bering Cigar Factory, Cuesta Rey and Company, The Perfecto Garcia Brothers Cigar Factory and The Haya Cigar Company. We are utilizing a large amount of the wood beams from the existing structure and incorporating them in to the lofts, along with other “Green Technologies”. Alexander Lofts LLC holds all licensing for development and architectural plans.

The point of contact for Alexander Lofts LLC is Ryan Koenig. Mr. Koenig has worked with some of the largest Multi-Family Development firms in the nation. He has extensive experience leading the development and construction of multi-family units.  Over the past ten years in the state of Florida alone, he managed the construction of more than 3000 units.

Objectives-Future Development

The goal of Alexander Lofts LLC is to propel the company into a prominent market position and expand over the next five years to include projects in other Florida markets and throughout the U.S. Future projects will be molded after the Tampa project, but modified by market to ensure integration in the local community. All projects will be built to LEED-certified standards, meeting the highest energy standards for that specific location.
